<cal2>Summer of Fun. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Clara Barton Community Center, 7425 MacArthur Blvd., in Cabin John is hosting a summer of fun — weekdays, June 28 through Aug. 6. There’ll be indoor and outdoor activities for children, including arts and crafts projects (from tie-dye shirts to jewelry), pizza days (Tuesday and Thursday), and water play on Fridays. The Clara Barton Summer Fun Center is well planned and supervised by a variety of staff members. This is a fun way for kids to spend their days at different sports, music, arts, crafts, and more. Cost is $240 for all six weeks. Children may come every day or whenever they wish. Remember to pack a lunch. No transportation is provided for the children, but there is a bus stop on MacArthur Blvd. near the Center for Ride-On bus, No. 32), and staff will escort children to the stop and wait with them.
