The Reston Lions Club new officers were officially installed by Past District Governor, Jim Ryan, at its regular meeting on July 20 held at the Hidden Creek Country Club in Reston. The Reston Lions Club emphasizes the preservation of sight and hearing, providing information on diabetes and the collection of eyeglasses and hearing aids for recycling.

Studio Rep is a group of eight high schoolers that perform shows throughout the year. For the past few years, the group holds auditions at the start of each school year, and once the troupe is selected, they perform through May.

Arrest Made in Child Pornography Case Detectives detained and arrested Juan Carlos Moza Moreno, 20, of 2216 Pimmit Run Lane Thursday, June 27. He was charged with possession of child pornography and use of communications systems to facilitate certain offenses involving children. The charges came following an investigation where a 16-year-old boy from McLean was allegedly provided a cell phone and coerced to transmit sexually explicit images of himself to Moza Moreno.
