Motorcyclist Dies in Clifton Crash Thomas V. Bowers, 25, of Burke, died Tuesday, July 2, from injuries he sustained in a June 16 crash. The accident occurred at Clifton Road and Maple Branch Road. Fairfax County police officers were called to the scene that day around 2 p.m.

Kara Anne Bigelman and Matthew Colin Eganhouse were married Aug. 25 in San Diego, Calif. Kara is the daughter of Paul and Kathleen Bigelman of Clifton. Matthew is the son of Bob Eganhouse and Trina Billingsley of Herndon.
Putting a Name and Face on Chronically Homeless
At 4 a.m., under a full moon, more than 200 volunteers fanned out across Fairfax County on Monday, Feb. 25, to identify the more than 300 people who are literally homeless, living in cars, on the street or in the woods around the county. Coordinated by the Fairfax-Falls Church Partnership to End Homelessness, the weeklong effort is part of the 100,000 Homes campaign, an intensive approach to identify and find homes for the chronically homeless.

Lisa Kay Gardner Brothers, 50, of Fairfax, Dies
Lisa Kay Gardner Brothers, age 50, of Fairfax, passed away on Nov. 5, 2014. Lisa was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on April 25, 1964 to Charles and Betty Gardner. Lisa attended Fairfax High School, where she went on to marry Christopher Brothers of Burke. Lisa was an artist at heart; sharing her love of crafting with others.
