Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Sharon Bulova premiered her "State of the County" address Wednesday, Feb. 20. In the 20-minute video, Bulova addressed what promises to be an eventful year in the county, one that will see the opening of five new Metrorail stations in Tysons Corner and Reston.

Montgomery County Council released a plan for additional stakeholder engagement on a zoning proposal, ZTA 20-01, Solar Collection System – AR Zone Standards, that removes the prohibition on community solar on 1,800 of the more than 90,000 acres of land in the Agricultural Reserve.

Walt Lawrence Exhibits at Katie’s Coffee

Great Falls photographer Walt Lawrence stages a new exhibit at Katie’s Coffee featuring images from his “On the Potomac at Riverbend” collection. The exhibit opened on Oct. 1 and will run through the end of the month. Over the past 15 months Lawrence has been shooting waterscapes and wildlife from a boat in the Potomac off of Riverbend Park.
