Fire and Rescue personnel lifted an injured hiker from Scott’s Run Park Sunday morning.

Peggy Jane Magtutu (a.k.a. Tu Tu), 77, of Cross Junction, Va., passed away on Monday, Nov. 16 in Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.
Burke Man Sentenced to 115 Years for Armed Robberies
On April 14, Burke resident Larry Pyos, 35, received a sentence of 115 years in prison for multiple armed robberies charges involving Fairfax County and Falls Church businesses. The announcement came from U.S. Attorney Dana Boente’s office.
