Under the campaign, the company will be seeking support of businesses, organizations and individuals to help raise $7500 by Oct. 25, 2012 to fund upcoming performing arts productions. Among other events planned, GDC has partnered with Barnes & Noble for a fundraising event at the Barnes & Noble in Fairfax on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planet Fitness, the health club franchise known for its “judgement free zone,” opened its second club in in December. Located at 5960 Richmond Highway, the club celebrated with a ribbon-cutting party on Jan. 14. Special guest, “The Biggest Loser” finalist, David Brown, was available to talk about fitness tips, and his own fitness philosophy.
