Megan Dominy and Bradley Foster Smith in Imagination Stage’s “From Here to There.” ‘From Here to There’ Imagination Stage brings Natasha Holmes, director and cofounder of Tell Tale Hearts Children’s Touring Theatre Company, from the United Kingdom to mount a new production of “From Here to There”, a play about building bridges, involving puppetry, comedy, live music, and poetry.
Reston Raiders Compete in National Ice Hockey Championships
12-under team trades pins with players from other states.
The Reston Raiders won their first game, 4-2, over a team from Arizona at the USA Hockey 12 and Under Tier II National Championships, which ran March 28 through April 1 at the twin rink Ashburn Ice House and SkateQuest Reston facilities.
Schools Feb. 15-21
The founding classes of Yorktown High School will hold a joint reunion Oct. 19 – 21, at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington. Alumni from Yorktown High School Class of 1963 are participating in a Class Reunion Website at http://classreport.org/usa/va/arlington/yhs/1963/ There are no registration fees required to join in the fun. Each class member has full participation privileges.
CES Wins National Recognition
School receives “Green Flag” status.
A ceremony celebrating Centreville Elementary School’s successful implementation of the National Wildlife Federation’s Eco-Schools USA program and its achievements as the second school in the state and only the fifth in the country to achieve “Green Flag” status was held June 8.

Well this is another election year and it seems like it never fails to be everywhere. In print, on the screen and airwaves, both in the USA and other places, but even now it is worse with the internet. Being so difficult to avoid makes it sickening.

Every Tuesday evening, Karen Dickerson meets at her former high school to run with a group called DC Capital Striders. Every Saturday morning, she meets at the Iwo Jima Memorial to run with a group called DC Road Runners, where she runs approximately 14 miles.
