Stephen Richardson prepares for the Daventry neighborhood’s annual National Night Out event in West Springfield on Tuesday, Aug. 7. “We look forward to this event every year,” said Richardson, Daventry’s safety committee chair, “because it brings neighbors out to meet each other and we get to meet our local police officers as well.”
