A redeveloped Landmark Mall site would mix building types and land uses (residential, commercial, public/civic), departing from an older model that would cluster them by kind. This high-density, mixed-use approach exemplifies much of the city government’s current doctrine guiding redevelopment overall, particularly around transit hubs and corridors.
