The Rev. Jo Belser of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection testified at the March 13 public budget hearing. “We feel called … to give the community some of the affordable housing it so desperately needs,” she said. Mayor Allison Silberberg responded from the dais: “We certainly appreciate the generosity that led to your offer … We thank you and take it under consideration, certainly.”
