For the second year in a row, John Eaton, Washington, D.C.’s beloved musicologist, humorist and jazz pianist will perform a special holiday concert at The Alden in McLean. The show will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17. Tickets are $35 for the general public, $20 for McLean tax district residents. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave., inside the McLean Community Center.

‘John Eaton’s Holiday Songbook’ Comes to The Alden Dec. 17. In a typical concert, he performs music from the vast treasure trove of American popular song and jazz. Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Fats Waller, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington and Harold Arlen are just a few of the great American composers he highlights.
