French Police K9 Diesel, pictured with her service medals, died last November during a firefight with suspected ISIS terrorists behind last year’s Paris massacre. In her honor, the Alexandria Police Foundation donated a K9 vest to the French Police.

The November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris left 137 dead and more than 368 injured. One of those victims was Diesel, a 7-year-old Belgian Malinos police dog for RAID, France’s anti-terrorist police unit.
