Dogs aren’t the only living creatures chasing fire trucks; parents with their young children in their cars do as well, sometimes. When the elves became aware that a mom was trying to catch up to the Santa ride, Santa had the fire truck stop and wait. An elf jumped off and made the children inside the car happy.
