Rebecca Ryan, 7, (left) of Kings Park West and Haily Nobiling, 7, (right) of Bristow got the signature of Alice’s sister Helen, played by Catholic graduate and Arlington resident Morgan Sendek. “I liked Helen at the end,” said Ryan. “Me too, when Alice was waking up from the dream,” said Nobiling. The girls were there with their grandmother, Erma Ryan of Burke. “We loved it,” she said. “It’s perfect for this age. Really kept their attention. We’ll be back for anything else they put on.”

Local theater company explores imagination at Workhouse.
For the next month, Barbara Lawson is leading a triple life. A freshly minted West Springfield senior, 17-year-old Lawson plays the title character in the Pandemonium Theatrical Productions setting of “Alice In Wonderland,” as well as Virginia in the same company’s “Nevermore,” a dark musical exploring the demons of Edgar Allen Poe.
