Outdoor Film Festival Starts Friday
The Rosslyn BID's Outdoor Film Festival kicks off Friday with a free screening of John Hughes' 1985 classic, “The Breakfast Club.” The plot revolves around five high school students, all different stereotypes, who meet in detention, where they pour their hearts out to each other and discover they have more in common than they thought. Rated R. This year's theme, Summer School, features movies about high school. Come early to picnic in the park and play pre-show games. Fridays, May 17-Aug. 30, free, at dusk at Gateway Park, 1300 Lee Highway.
