Young members of Adelphi Friends Meeting spent a recent weekend testing out the train ride, which will debut Saturday, June 1 at the annual Adelphi Friends Strawberry Festival, at 2303 Metzerott Road. The community is warmly invited to enjoy a bevvy kids activities, baked goods, and the Giant Rummage Sale. Join Adelphi Friends to celebrate the abundance of summer and diversity of our local community.
Adelphi Friends Meeting’s Strawberry Festival
On Saturday, June 1st, Adelphi Friends Meeting will hold its annual Strawberry Festival from 10 AM – 3 PM at 2303 Metzerott Road in Adelphi, Maryland (between Riggs Road and Adelphi Road). The Strawberry Festival is a long-standing community event and day of fun for the whole family. Highlights include the sale of fresh locally-grown strawberries, the Giant Rummage Sale, a Plant Sale, and live entertainment. Children’s Activities include train rides, face painting, and a moon bounce. Come for the fun and leave with great bargains.
