Williams students’ senior experience with the Alexandria Police Department and Alexandria Sheriff’s Office. From May 20 through June 7, the seven students spent their school day working with criminal justice professionals at Alexandria Police Headquarters, the William G. Truesdale Adult Detention Center, the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy and the Alexandria Courthouse. They went on ride-alongs with patrol officers and sheriff’s deputies and observed the 911 call center operated by the Department of Emergency Communications.
