Supporting Good Shepherd
Three for a Song's Karin Paludan, Doug Bowles and pianist Alex Hassan peppered a crowd of more than 300 with 1920s and ‘30s song, dance and music at the Good Shepherd Housing & Family Services BEL13VE Gala at the Crowne Plaza in Old Town. The event netted over $218,000 — $20,000 more than last year in donations from ticket sales and auction items. The Save the Day Super Heroes reverse auction earned more than $40,000 in donations for GSH emergency services while the Send A Kid to Camp reverse auction raised more than $30,000.
