R. Scott Silverthorne becomes the City of Fairfax’s 10th mayor during his swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday, June 27 at the City Hall Veteran’s Amphitheater. The oath of office was administered by Clerk of the Court John Frey.

Speaking at swearing-in ceremony, R. Scott Silverthorne promised to recognize and reflect the city’s growing diversity as he became the 10th person to serve as mayor of the City of Fairfax on Wednesday, June 27.
