West Springfield’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes has recognized Joey DeSantis, left, (football) and Danielle O'Brien, right, (field hockey, soccer and gymnastics) as the group’s Male and Female Athletes of the Year. Boys’ lacrosse coach Scott Settar, second from right, was named the Coach of the Year. Also pictured is Todd Lalich, second from left. These three were selected for their integrity, service and teamwork in the field, classroom and in the community. Past winners of this award have included Joe Saunders, Bryn Renner, Peter Lalich, Kara Lawson and Meghan Ogilvie.
