Lauren McColgan, shown here bunting her way on base, is a sophomore shortstop on the McLean High girls’ softball team. Last year as a freshman, she earned Second Team All-District honors. McLean, coached by Maurice Tawil, is coming off a strong 13-7 campaign in 2007. Now, the Highlanders are ready to take on the new spring season.
