National Drug Take Back Day

National Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. That’s when people may bring their expired or unused medications to designated drop-off locations, where they’ll be handled with care and disposed of properly. Local sites are the Sully District Police Station, 4900 Stonecroft Blvd. in Chantilly, and the Fair Oaks District Police Station, 12300 Route 50 in Fair Oaks. However, those unable to do it on that date may also deposit these items into the medicine drop box in these stations’ lobbies that’s available 24/7, all year ’round.
