Fun and Food at Fairfax Farmers Markets

Colorful, fall produce is at Fairfax City’s farmers markets.

The farmers markets in Fairfax City are open Saturdays and Sundays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at 10500 Page Ave., near the Fairfax County Courthouse. They’re currently slated to close by the end of October, but could be extended into November, if the weather is still nice. The bustling Saturday market has some 40 vendors, while the Sunday market is smaller, with a more laid-back vibe, but both are lots of fun.
