Detectives determined Kyjuan Omar Braxton Trott-McLean saw Wims in the backseat of a vehicle on St Gregorys Lane. Trott-McLean exited a silver Nissan Sentra with Maryland registration and shot Wims multiple times, according to police.

On Wednesday night, Nov. 30, officers located an unoccupied vehicle they believed Trott-McLean was using in the 8600 block of Forest Place in Mount Vernon. Detectives from the Fugitive Track and Apprehension Unit responded to conduct a surveillance operation on the vehicle.
Shortly after noon on Thursday, Trott-McLean was seen returning to the vehicle under surveillance in another vehicle. Detectives approached, and he attempted to flee in the vehicle that he arrived in. Detectives prevented his escape by making contact with his vehicle and rendering it inoperable. Trott-McLean was taken to a nearby hospital to be evaluated. He was then taken to the Adult Detention Center and held without bond.
