As the coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency continues to evolve, we understand that individuals and families in our communities may have food assistance needs.

Fairfax County and Fairfax County Public Schools have worked together to develop a searchable map that includes community food distribution sites, including FCPS grab and go locations, community meal distribution sites, food pantries, and other related services.

FCPS is committed to providing information to assist families that rely on free and reduced price school meals and is providing grab and go meals at no cost for students at several sites throughout the county. FCPS students are welcome to come to any of the sites to pick up a meal during these time periods. All FCPS students are eligible for free grab and go breakfast and lunch. All other county children, under the age of 18, can also receive a meal. Adults may pay $2 for the meals as well. Students must be present to request the meals.

FCPS is providing grab and go meals at several schools and community centers, including pop-up locations, and along several bus routes throughout the county.

Two school sites offer curbside pickup. Breakfast and lunch will be available from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Follow the kiss and ride signage for traffic flow at the school; FCPS staff will deliver meals to children and adults while they wait in their cars.

Effective Tuesday, March 24, FCPS is changing the time for grab and go meal service at 34 school locations. The grab and go meals will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning March 24. Breakfast and lunch will be available at the same time.
