I am super excited to go back to school again and meet my friends and teachers. I have lots of fun things to share with my friend. The best things about the new school year is buying new clothes, shoes, and school supplies. It is so much fun. Even though I am going to miss sleeping in late, going to the beach, riding my bike, and having fun with my friends, as an American Muslim girl I know that the importance of education is not only is a requirement of my country but also my faith. The Holy Quran states, “Oh my Lord increase my knowledge” (20:115). Now that I am going to be a fourth grader, I am ready to learn new things to increase my knowledge and hope my fellow classmates do too.
