It was beyond shocking for me to learn that there was a terrorist attack at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. Innocent worshippers attending Friday Prayer were gunned down just because they were Muslim. It irks me that there's nothing I can do. I am sad and frustrated that I can't do anything for the people affected or I can't spread enough peace to people. I can't even get my thoughts down because I am having so many … like why can't everyone live peacefully? How did this help anyone? Some people have so much hatred in them that it doesn't matter what you say. But I know that I have to be positive and hope it will influence someone. The Qur’an says, “Vie with one another in good works” (2:149). And good work is what we all need to do.
