The Bishop Ireton varsity cheerleaders won their fourth straight National Title at the Christian Cheerleaders of America (CCA) competition over the weekend. They are the only team in the history of the CCA to win the title four years in a row, beating out more than 200 other private and public school teams from North Carolina, Texas, California, and several other states. In addition to winning the overall competition, the team took first place in the music and tumbling divisions. Four cheerleaders also won the Cheer Scholar Award: Kaleigh Ballagh ’20, Yannet Ephrem ’19, Mia Olson ’19, and Katie Duffett ’19.
