A 60-year-old man died on Wednesday, Dec, 4, after he was hit by a car on Monday evening. Abraham Feldman, of Washington, D.C., was crossing Old Courthouse Road at the intersection of Lord Fairfax Road around 7:19 p.m. The driver of a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling eastbound on Old Courthouse Road proceeding through the intersection and struck Feldman, who was in the vicinity of the crosswalk. Feldman was taken to the hospital, where he died Wednesday. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with detectives. Preliminarily, alcohol does not appear to be a factor for the driver or the pedestrian. Detectives have not yet determined if speed was a factor for the driver.
