John Allen Modder is the 220th person to earn his Eagle Scout rank in Boy Scout Troop 1131 at St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church in Burke. John’s parents are Donald and Elizabeth Modder. They live in the Wakefield Chapel area of Annandale.
John is a 16 year old junior at W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax, where he plays defense on the Lacrosse team and enjoys soccer. He is a member of the National Honor Society, as well. John attends Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Annandale.
In the troop, he has served as the Senior Patrol Leader (SPL). In the summers, he works as a lifeguard at his local community pool. His goal is to someday own his own Home Services company.
