The McLean Area Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will discuss the branch program for 2018-19 on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at the Tysons Pimmit Library, 7584 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church. The meeting will provide updates on the annual Used Book Sale as well as a review of the many planned branch activities and projects for the year. Branch high school junior math and science award recipients will speak about how the awards have inspired their academic pursuits. Women who have received the branch’s scholarships at Trinity and Marymount Universities and international fellow will also share their accomplishments and dreams.
