The one-day Herndon Festival, held Monday, Sept. 3, featured samplings of Virginia wines and craft beers, entertainment, craft and food vendors and lawn games. Kathy Blystone and Robin Law, members of Woman's Club and co-chairs of the Labor Day Festival Committee, said that proceeds will be used to fund the mission of the organization through its programs and community service projects such as Wreaths Across America, Scholarships for Local Students, Activities with Seniors, and children and community needs.
