Dozens gathered to remember Claudia Patricia Gómez González at Tenants and Workers United on May 30. González, who traveled from Guatemala to live with her boyfriend in Alexandria, was shot and killed on May 23 by a U.S. Border Patrol Agent in Rio Bravo, Texas. The attendees demanded justice for her death and raised money for González’ family in Guatemala.
