Nauck Celebrates Black History Month

Balloons are everywhere for Arlington resident 5-year old Sabrina Brundage, who is at the 26th annual Feel the Heritage Festival with her 11-year-old brother, Sean, to celebrate Black History Month.

Drew Community Center is crowded with over 20 vendors offering jewelry, traditional Black clothing and Caribbean spices, as well as exhibits ranging from the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge, CARE/ Nauck Youth Enterprises, with a live painting demonstration by local artist Romeo J Taylor, the Black Heritage Museum table just inside the door to a political table manned by County Board member John Vihstadt at the Feel the Heritage Festival.
