The North Ridge Citizens Association has teamed up for more than 25 years with Almost Heavenly Christmas Trees to bring fresh trees for the community’s Annual Community Christmas Tree Sale. This year, the sale will be the weekend of Dec. 2-4, opening Friday afternoon from noon to 8 p.m, Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Trinity United Methodist Church hosts the sale on their parking lot at Allison Street and Cameron Mills Road. Boy Scout Troop 129 helps each year with offloading and opening the hundreds of trees delivered for the sale and each fall the troop heads to the Christmas tree farm in West Virginia to camp out among the trees. The sale benefits the North Ridge Citizens Association and Trinity United Methodist Church.
