Fairfax County Police responded to a report of a commercial armed robbery in the 5900 block of North Kings Highway on Monday, Nov. 14.
Police spokesman Master Police Officer Don Gotthardt said the suspect entered the New China Taste restaurant, displayed a handgun, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were no injuries and the crime is under investigation, Gotthardt said.
Police described the suspect as a male African American in his 30s, six-feet tall, around 200 pounds and wearing a black jacket and pants. They said it’s possible he was last seen driving a silver sedan.
