Applications are now available for the 2016 Mount Vernon Lee Chamber of Commerce Education Partnership Scholarships. Graduating seniors planning to pursue further education in a business related field are encouraged to apply for a $2,000 local scholarship.

The application deadline is Monday, May 2 at midnight.
Those applying for the scholarships must plan to pursue further education in a business-related field, have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0, have work or community volunteer experience, and live in Lee or Mount Vernon Districts. Applicants must submit an essay with the application and a copy of their high school transcript.
For the past fifteen years, the Chamber of Commerce has invested in the future by awarding more than $155,000 in scholarships to graduating high school students in Mount Vernon and Lee Districts. The scholarship fund is maintained through the annual Chamber Golf Classic and through generous contributions of Chamber members and businesses in the Mount Vernon and Lee Districts.
