The City of Fairfax Theatre Company will present Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” July 22-30, 2016.
“The Music Man” won five Tony Awards in 1958, including the award for Best Musical, and has continued to be one of the most beloved musicals in American History.
The cast is led by Lars Klores and Elizabeth Ferrante as Harold Hill and Marian Paroo. The production team includes Director Lisa Anne Bailey, Producer and Music Director Kirsten Boyd, Choreographers Erich DiCenzo and Katie Tomney, Costume Designer Clara Poteet, Stage Manager Molly Weaver, and Technical Director Matt Torres.
Tickets for “The Music Man” are $10 for children aged 12 and under and $15 for adults in advance online. Remaining seats, if available, will be sold at the door one hour prior to each performance at $13 for children aged 12 and under and $18 for adults. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday matinees are at 2 p.m. and the Sunday matinee is at 3 p.m. Group pricing is available for groups of 10+ on Thursday evening, Saturday and Sunday matinees.
All performances will take place at Sydney Lanier Middle School, 3801 Jermantown Road, Fairfax. Free parking is available. The production runs approximately 2 and 1/2 hours, including one intermission. Tickets are available online and can be purchased at www.fairfaxcitytheatre.org.
