Austin Allison, James Crowley, Cameron Farmer, of Oakton, and Tate Wilhelm (Vienna) received their Eagle Scout designation at a Troop 152 Court of Honor at the Vienna Presbyterian Church. Friends, family, community members and BSA leaders attended the celebration. All the boys have been a member of Boy Scouts of America’s National Capital Area Council, Troop 152, since the fifth grade.
Austin Allison is a junior at Oakton High School and for his Eagle Project he constructed a wooden baseball dugout at Southside Park. The dugout is now used by Vienna Little League and the Golden Girls Senior Women’s Softball Organization. Outside of scouting, Allison is also is the Scouting Lead for the Oakton High School Robotics team.
James Crowley is a junior at Oakton High School and for his Eagle Project he constructed a range officer observation platform at the Fairfax-Arlington Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America. This was constructed in time to be used for the 2015 World Police and Fire Games hosted by Fairfax County. Outside of scouting, he is a captain of Oakton High School Cross Country and Track and Field teams.
Cameron Farmer is a junior at Oakton High School and for his Eagle Project he did some landscaping and helped raise awareness for the Alternative House in Vienna. Outside of scouting, he is a coxswain on the Oakton High School Crew.
Tate Wilhelm is a homeschooled junior and for his Eagle Project he installed a cobblestone border around the pool deck at the Vienna Aquatic Club. Outside of scouting, he is a member and coach for the Vienna Aquatic Club Gators Swim team.
Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program.
