These three gentlemen took it upon themselves to dig people out from the "Blizzard of 2016.” The Thorn Hill neighborhood had rarely seen a plow since Friday and the problem of "Where to put the snow?" was becoming an even greater concern. The elderly could not get to their cars, the handicapped were feeling a loss of their freedom and dogs were at a complete loss as to where to go.
And then three angels (or three wise men) appeared: Todd Anderson, Richard Wood and Andy Zisari. On their own with a rented snowblower they began - one house at a time - to dig cars out, create trails and walkways and make neighbors smile. These three gentlemen were out very late in the freezing cold and they were back out early Tuesday morning.
The Blizzard of 2016 certainly brought frustration and worry, but in the neighborhood of Thorn Hill it also brought out the best in all.
