Lee Kaiser (left), a counselor at Centreville Elementary School, has been selected as a 2015-2016 award winner for National Life Group’s “LifeChanger of the Year” program. Kaiser was selected as one of the top 15 winners out of more than 620 teachers, administrators and school district employees nominated for the award from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. He was recognized during a surprise pep rally attended by more than 950 students and staff members on Friday, April 8, where he received a $3,000 cash award to be split between him and his school. Kaiser was nominated by Centreville Elementary School principal, Dwayne Young (right), who credited Kaiser with creating dramatic improvements in school climate through spearheading the school’s Positive Behavior Intervention and Support team.
