To the Editor:
One of the inherent problems in politics is corruption. Not just of money, nor of cheating on spouses, but of breaking one’s word.
No finer example can be Bill Euille’s reneging on his pledge after losing the Alexandria Democratic mayoral primary to Allison Silberberg.
How can we trust Mr. Euille with the stewardship of our city?
A city’s mayor should be a role model for all, but especially for the young. For parents of all parts of Alexandria, Bill Euille is not the man we need to point to as someone to emulate.
Allison Silberberg may not to the best candidate for some, but for all she is the perfect choice to be the mayor of Alexandria because she is the one we can trust — and be proud of.
