In spite of the remnants of rain from Hurricane Joaquin, the crowds were large at the Town of Vienna's annual Oktoberfest celebration last Saturday, Oct. 3. The event held in the historic Church Street corridor and Vienna Town Green featured beer and wine, food, marketplace vendors and live music throughout the day on the main stage and children's stage. Oktoberfest was sponsored by the Vienna Business Association in partnership with local sponsoring businesses and the Town of Vienna, with proceeds supporting First Night Vienna.
