On Dec. 2, the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Women's Leadership Forum. The theme of this year's summit is "Intentional Success in 2016--It's Your Time!"
For the first time, this year's event will offer a day of education and inspiration at a "castle on the river"--the breathtaking 612 Rivercrest Road in McLean. Attendees will enjoy spectacular scenic views of the Potomac River and Maryland countryside from one of McLean's most magnificent homes, situated atop 1.2 acres of wooded terraced land. The Chamber collaborated with Fouad Talout of Talout International LLC to secure the high-profile location.
Moira Lethbridge, M.Ed., trainer, coach and creator of Take the Leap to Success Coaching Program, will work with attendees to discuss accomplishing change and designing a roadmap to success.
"I'm excited to share the No. 1 reason women succeed in making long-lasting and powerful changes," said Lethbridge. "The Women's Leadership Forum offers practical how-to's as well as an action plan for integrating and sustaining new behaviors. I've taught this to other women who have experienced new breakthroughs, released fears about taking new actions, and regained their certainty. I'm delighted to teach the Women's Leadership Forum attendees how to do this as well!"
In addition to the keynote provided by Lethbridge, the event also includes breakout sessions facilitated by industry experts including:
*Gail Lang, writer, HR executive and Change Curve Guru, and
- Experiential panel on "How I managed my personal change curve and how you can, too. Practicing applying the change curve to your situation", featuring realtor Karen Briscoe and entrepreneur Patty McGinley.
Sponsored by District Financial Advisors, DiPietro Family Law Group, and Constant Contact, the Women's Leadership Forum runs from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and includes lunch. Tickets are $75 for members of any regional Chamber and $95 for future Chamber members. Group discounts are available for parties of 3 or more. Additional sponsorship opportunities exist.
