Churchill Road parents Sarah Collett, Yoko Yamamoto,Luz Panduro and Kelly Green-Kahn help students Emily New, Louisa Tidd and Carlos Janada fill a box with the sandwiches they made for Martha’s Table.

Churchill Road kindergarteners, first and sixth graders (and a few 8th grade CRS alums) helped make sandwiches for the homeless for Martha’s Table on Wednesday, March 11. Even with the snow days’ disruption, the students, parents, teachers and family members were able to get enough donations and supplies to make over 1,700 sandwiches, bringing the total for the year to more than 5,000. The school thanks the families who donated bread, meat and cheese and helped make this event a success and to CRS PTA Community Service Committee Co-chairs Robin Hoeymans and Sarah Walter for making this event such a success.
