Arlington — John (Mac) McLaughlin (USMC RET.) of Arlington died June 22. He was retired as director of the Arlington Soccer Association. Raised in Youngstown Ohio, he is survived by his wife Jackie, daughter Colleen Pellquin (Brian), sons Michael and Matthew, and granddaughter Shannon, and was predeceased by son Patrick. Visitation was at Murphy Funeral Home, Arlington, on Tuesday June 30. Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church is Wednesday July 1 at 11 a.m. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
