L'Hermione arrived at Mount Vernon on Tuesday, June 9. L’Hermione is an exact replica of the ship that brought the Marquis de Lafayette to America in 1780. The reconstructed tall ship will be docked along the Alexandria waterfront through June 12 as part of a 12-stop U.S. tour commemorating Lafayette’s historic voyage and role in the American Revolution.
