Del. Alfonso Lopez (D-49) has earned a 100 percent rating from the Virginia Chapter of the Sierra for his voting record during the 2015 General Assembly Session. In addition to earning the A+ rating, he received the 2015 Legislative Award for his work creating the Virginia Environment and Renewable Energy Caucus in the General Assembly and his leadership on environmental issues. During the past legislative session, Lopez worked to pass legislation expanding solar power in Virginia and to increase funding for stormwater mitigation programs in the State Budget.
