Sully District, of the National Capital Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, held a Bicycle Rodeo at the swimming pool parking lot of the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club on Wednesday, July 15, as part of its Summertime Activities Program.
There were more than 100 Scouts, siblings, and adults that participated in the program.
The volunteers from the Fairfax County Police were in attendance checking the safety of the bikes, the fit of safety helmets, and helping the participants ride their bikes on the course.
Linda Watkins from INOVA was handing out backpacks and also bicycle helmets to those who needed one.
The Chantilly National Golf and Country Club provided hot dogs for the participants.
