SHUTER’S HILL ECUMENICAL CAROLERS
The carolers were rewarded with marvelous weather for their Christmas collection for Children’s Hospital.
Rachel Hunt, one of the original juvenile carolers 50 years ago, was the leader of the group this year. Her son, Gabriel Qualiana, and Sarah Wastow collected the money in the official Caroling for Children’s canisters that we acquired many years ago when it was the hospital itself that organized the collection. The Swindell family, Amy, Richard, Emma, and twins Holden and Nathaniel, turned out bravely aided by their dog Edison. The official total donated was over $1,000.
BUFFET
After the caroling, everyone enjoyed a collation, organized with great efficiency by Moina Ratliff, that had been contributed by many of the neighbors.
